Injection pump issue (i think)

Some IP's also have a filter screen behind the inlet banjo bolt... I agree with your assessment, it sounds like it is running out of fuel.

Difficulty Starting 'on my 93 L300

Stalling out is a possible symptom of an IP pump seal letting air in; usually the shaft seal. But I would start by looking for filter restrictions. Changing the fuel filter is a good idea; it's due. There is also a filter screen in the IP pump's outlet banjo bolt, and there is one behind the inlet b...

Inner front wheel bearing seal

Spring side of the seal goes towards what you are trying to contain (hub side).

Battery Killer

Have you checked the alternator fuse? Have you tested the alternator's output voltage when running? I highly suspect it's the voltage regulator/diode internal to the alternator and you are cooking the batteries. The sense wire would keep the alternator from charging, but you should get the warning l...

starter fusible link and battery electrical confusion.

I believe you have the right part number for the burnt link... it's for the glow plugs.
9 is for the A/C (should be green). 8 is typically not connected... it's for some optional accessory.

Wiring up the rear cigarette lighter so it always has power

I just run an external battery that recharges off of that outlet. I was running a 12v SLAB jump pack with built in USB/inverter; but it was about useless at actually jumping the 4D56 with a dead battery. I now use an Audew 2000A 20Ah battery . It charges off of a USB outlet plug while driving. And i...

If you modify the van's harness, then you are dependent on the aftermarket parts and an "unknown" connector for any future changes/work.

L300 fuel pump failure?

I think there's an error in there somewhere... no-one in their right mind would pull the injector pump in order to change the fuel filter. I think what you are meaning is the priming pump on the fuel filter mount. The injector pump is next to the engine and connected to it by a pulley/belt and hard ...

L300 power to only 1wheel on each axle

The lack of overdrive could be transmission oil pressure... a transmission shop should be able to check it and adjust it if necessary. It might also need the oil/filter checked/changed. The front does not have a limited slip differential, it will spin one wheel. Not all of the rear axles have LSD's ...

Another Tire choice to make!

Auto hubs spin the cv joints and front differential all the time. No, they shouldn't. They should be free to spin at the hub when unlocked... that's kind of the point. If they are spinning the CV joints and driveshaft there might be a problem (dinged splines, overpacked, etc.)... if they are just t...
