engine cut out at 2xxx RPMs?

Where is that screen? How would one check it/clean it/clear it?

engine cut out at 2xxx RPMs?

Talked to a Chrysler tech (who also has a 4D56 equipped Pajero) this weekend who suggested this could be a clogged EGR tube. He said this is something he's seen on the 12v Cummins. Thinking about cleaning it out and also blanking. Any thoughts?

engine cut out at 2xxx RPMs?

Another observation. This is happening more when the engine is hot... Any additional thoughts?

engine cut out at 2xxx RPMs?

So this is above the fuel cutoff solenoid... Is it a cover to the screw or is it the screw itself?

Front brake line parts numbers?

Thanks Growler!

OK, so I think I got the wrong part. I went to the local shop and we found a match on a 1990 North American Mitsu Van but it looks like I got the MR129744 instead of the MR129771. I'm finally under the wheel here and now... how do I get the dang hose disconnected from the bracket?

Front brake line parts numbers?

Pulled out of the driveway the other day and the brake pedal went all the way to the floor! Glad it didn't happen on the highway. Seems like the front right hose closest to the wheel is leaking. Looking at some schematics, it looks like the Mitsubishi part number is MB407106, but Mitsubishi doesn't ...

Exclamation Mark Warning Light

I'm pretty sure the exclamation point is the parking brake indicator. Hot wheel would indicate to me a stuck caliper. It could be that the e brake is stuck on, or the caliper is stuck otherwise...

Trailer wiring?

Anyone hooked up lights to their L300? Trying to tow a trailer and wondering what kind of wiring harness to get.

Thanks!

New England area L300/Van mechanics

First of all - salutations fellow MA L300 owner!

Second of all, I have a pretty good VW diesel guy who I trust with my 4D56, but I probably wouldn't recommend him for a complete gasser rebuild. I'll ask around though.

A/T temp, fuel filter, battery lights all on?

A/T temp, fuel filter, battery lights all coming on at the same time and then sometimes fading in/out with RPMs. Eventually when the vehicle is warmed up, the lights go off and then when the RPMs are revved the lights come on with the increasing RPMS. Any ideas?

Batteries dead/not charging

Is it OK to charge batteries while everything is hooked up? I generally take the battery that I'm charging out of the car, but with the dual battery setup it takes me 15 minutes just to get the damn things out. I don't think there's a drain. I'm pretty sure that I've been driving without an alternat...

Batteries dead/not charging

Two new batteries totally dead... Jumped the van and figured the alternator would charge them up as I had a good 30 minute drive. Got a few minutes into the drive and notice the lights are a bit dim... Then realize the radio's died. Ooops. No power at all. I've been meaning to do the alternator belt...
