Glow plugs won’t click off and won’t crank.

I’ve been having this problem off and on since I’ve owned my delica. Wondering if the cold is making the symptoms worse since it hasn’t happened once over the summer. I’ll turn the key till I hear the usual 1st click, wait for the second click, and it never happens. Then if I turn the key all the wa...

Tapping the fuel line to install air heater

The successful completion of this project took until last week when I installed a second unit. The things I learnt along the way are more than I had anticipated. I thought about doing video about this project but was too lazy to document each step, especially as I ended up doing the same things ove...

Front skid plates for sale, interested?

If i can get much interest, I'll make another run of these, my friend that was doing them before is unable to now, but i know someone else that will be able to, might just cost me a little more. After my last run, a few people had trouble mounting them. just be aware that it will take some bending/...

Replacing leaf springs, impossible to remove!

Any tips from someone who’s done them would be much appreciated. How did you end up getting them out? Just for anyone else who's in the same predicament later... had to cut both bolts in the front oval bushing. the drivers side would spin freely, but only because the leaf around the bushing snapped...

Rear Leaf Spring Upgrade

I just finished installing new rear leafs last weekend. My stock ones were so worn out i actually had a bit of negative arch  I got mine custom made from Alcan spring in Grand Junction CO. Ive only put maybe 50 miles on them, but so far im really impressed. Its 6 thinner leafs vs the stock 3+...

Replacing leaf springs, impossible to remove!

We’re replacing the leaf springs on my l300, we got the rear shackles removed, u bolts, it all came off fairly easy. everything except the front bushings, the oval shaped ones. We have the nut off but the bolt won’t budge. Spent probably 7 hours on them using a big impact on the bolt, a ton of lever...

Front skid plates for sale, interested?

I'm out of them right now, I'm trying to come up with a different design thats a little easier to mount. I could do another run of these same styles if there is enough interest.

L300 shocks

My concern with using rear shocks on the front is that they're valved for 1:1 (or thereabouts) suspension movement (the shock moves up and down as far as the wheel), whereas on the front of our vans the shock only moves about a 1/2 as much as the wheel. The Fox shocks can be valved to suit though, ...

Rode in somebodys truck with Fox shocks, stock otherwise, and yeah i was extremely impressed. so i've been digging around trying to find something that works.. I...

Stock ride height and leaf arch?

Can anyone tell me what the stock ride height is for an L300? Im getting custom leaf springs made, would like 1-2” lift over stock. Mine are pretty worn out so I really have no idea what stock would be. Also, anyone have a good source of info for the stock leafs? Mostly need to know what the stock a...

L300 shocks

What are you looking for when finding shocks that will work? Type of mount front/rear? minimum/maximum travel? I have dobinson torsion bars, otherwise stock, so the fronts maybe 1-2" higher than stock depending on how wound i have the bars. may set them loose and use a balljoint spacer. as for ...
