Re: New Source for Rear Tailgate Struts in US
I've attached images of the schematics. The part# and manufacturer are listed on it. I ordered them through Lift Support Depot in San Diego, which was a special order. I bet you could get them through another company though.

New Source for Rear Tailgate Struts in US
I was able to source brand new tailgate struts from Lift Supports Depot here in San Diego. They were able to cross reference the original part# and get me aftermarket direct replacements for about $60 for the pair. They include the brackets and line up perfectly. Let me know if anyone is interested ...

Re: Registering in California
For anyone considering importing a Delica to California, you might wanna think twice. I'm just about at the point of giving up, selling mine and calling it a lesson learned. There are loopholes, but they may only last so long before you get caught. I wouldn't be able to drive mine as much as I'd lik...

Registering in California
Has anyone had any experience registering in California? I just imported a Delica from BC and drove back to California. I was able to get plates and tags at the Crescent City DMV on my way back to San Diego, but I am still awaiting my Registration and Title from the main DMV in Sacramento. I have a ...

Re: Newbie from California
Hey all, wanted to let you know that I made it back to San Diego from BC safe and sound. The Delica performed like a champ and didn't give us any problems the entire trip! In case anyone else in California is planning a similar trip, we stopped at the Crescent City DMV and they were able to get it r...

Re: Newbie from California
Thanks Delicat! I'll get ahold of you when I get into town. We're gonna be there October 19 in the afternoon. We've only got a week to get back down the coast, so we'd like to get on the road asap. I would love to meet up and maybe you can give me a few insider tips on the Delica. Didn't know you ha...

Re: Newbie from California
Hey all. I'm pulling the trigger on a 1990 Delica Super Exceed from Silk Road Autos. I'm planning on going up there mid October to retrieve it. I'm taking a week off to drive it down the coast back to San Diego. I'd welcome any recommendations for campsites or other places to stay on the cheap, sigh...

Hey Bob! I remember seeing that one on Craigslist when it was available. Love the color scheme! How was your experience with Amazing auto imports? I've been shopping around trying to find the best place to import an L300 from. Enjoy your new ride. Can't wait to get my hands on one!

Newbie from California
Hi all. My name's Scott from San Diego, CA in the States. I've got the bug to import an L300 and thought I should join the forum to get as much information as possible. I love vans. I had an 86 Toyota Van Wagon, and now I've currently got an old 65 Chevy 1st gen Van with a camper top. I'm in love wi...
