You'll need a entire new system if you swap it including hoses, ... $$$ pretty pricy! Regardless of what your friend mechanic tells you, always refer to a professional HVAC shop to properly guide you through this process. I've seen client spent $1000+ and be left out with a system still not working....

You might run into the problem of who will service your ac system. Those old van uses R-12 and no ones want to deal with nor has the right connections to fill them. Transfer case cables...?

Just curious if anyone else out there has the transfer case cable colour coated? Just replaced my rear crank seal this weekend and as I was installing the cable back I realized mine are colour coated. Red for the top and yellow for the bottom cable.

hey dude long time! Just get a generic one from canadian tire/napa/bumper to bumper with the exact same size intake and exhaust side. I did the same when i rebuild my entire exhaust system...

Ive seen double seals that took a few hundred K before they star leaking, cheap oil filters often have a smaller oil seal too. Another thing to check is how tight the filter iss installed.
