Front blower resistors for fan speed
The previous owner bypassed the blower resistor pack and I would like to get my fan speeds back. The resistor pack is below/behind the glove box. It is a black 3cmx10cm rectangle held in by two screws. There is a single electrical clip with 4 wires coming out of it. I need to know what wire goes whe...

Relays below steering column?
Does anyone know what the relays below the steering column are for? Just to the left of the drivers legs (RHD). Last night the lower right one got hot enough to start smoking out and drained my batteries. I pulled it, got a boost and the van is operating fine, everything seems to be working fine. An...

Re: Introducing Fiona!
When driving at night, do u ever notice ALL the dashboard indicator lights glowing faintly on and off, on and off, on and off etc. This is the delica talking to you, saying help me, help me, help me etc. It means "I am not charging enough, either my battery clamps are loose/dirty, or my altern...

Re: Introducing Fiona!
Had a chance to work on the van last night, I achieved one thing for sure, fixed the reverse lights. Problem was a broken wire in the small rubber hose on the drivers side running from the van to the tailgate. Added a small length of wire, and voila, I can probably back down a fsr at night! This als...

Introducing Fiona!
Hello, So I purchased a 94 L400 LWB from a private owner on the Island at the end of November and I thought I would introduce myself and her now that I've had some time with her. First off I am having a HUGE love/hate relationship with this van. On paper it is the best vehicle for my needs. Like man...

pemberton/whistler pre purchase inspection
Hi there, looking for a delica or trusted diesel mechanic in the pemberton whistler area to perform a pre-purchase inspection. I have done a search through Google but aside from a new Zealander in 2009, have failed to come up with anything. If you have brought your deli to a mechanic in the area wit...

Re: Newbie Delica Shopper
Psilon, At this point I've sent you 3 emails and 1 forum message with only a single reply to the first one? Are you really that interested in selling it or is your junk mail catching everything?

Re: Newbie Delica Shopper
Any comments on whether it would be wiser to buy private or from a dealer. Obviously it depends on the private seller but I'm thinking if I buy a Deli from someone who bought it from one of the trusted importers and I save 4-5k, it seems I'm way better off than buying from the dealer in the first pl...

Re: Newbie Delica Shopper
Thanks Grolly, Do all gen 2's have the LSD or just the 9.5" rear diff, (some LSD, most not). Also can you get a gen 2 with a bull bar, or add one, seems like a possible paint saver when the road gets tough. Anyone have experience with and without the LSD, how much do you appreciate it if you us...

Newbie Delica Shopper
Hi folks, I'm pretty excited to be apart of this forum, lots of good information here that I have been gathering over the last few weeks. So, I just put my current car up for sale (bought only 2 months ago) and am now on the hunt for a delica. Short Version: 1-Looking for a reliable/trustworthy/prov...
