Battery Size

I replaced my dying/dead dual batteries in my 91' Super Exceed with a single Odyssey PC1500 DT. Group 34/78. I used the existing securement bar and hook bolt, but put a larger sized nut as a washer as the threads weren't long enough. I cut down/ modified the dual battery leads and it worked a charm....

Re: Lights not working

Low and High beams are on different fuses, I'd check those first!

Right above your gas pedal, take off the cover! I believe low beams are on the 2nd row down, maybe 3rd or 4th from the left?

Re: Front end grinding noise

Well the new races and bearings went in without too much trouble! I used the 2x4 + hammer method to put the new races in since the freezing did next to nothing! Unfortunately I did not seem to do much for the noise, which may have gotten quieter. Since the bearings, races and seal change, the noise ...

Re: Front end grinding noise

Fantastic! Thank you for your help! I've heard of people putting the new races in the freezer and then installing them, as they warm up they expand to the proper size and fit easily. I'll give that a try and report back! The wood-old-new race method seems very clever as well, good have have a few op...

Re: Front end grinding noise

I am not sure if my bearings have ever been replaced, from what I understand the bearings in the L300 are supposed to be pretty bombproof, although everything wears down eventually! I replaced the calipers today as one side was definitely sticking (not seized... yet) and the noise seems greatly redu...

Front end grinding noise

I've been having a rhythmic low grinding noise that seems to be coming from the front end. It increases in sound and frequency as speed increases, with little to no sound at speeds less than 10-15km/h It is much more noticeable when coasting down a hill and seems to increase while turning right. CV b...

Re: Tire change

Lots of people run the 30x9.50 tires, no real difference, I believe your actual speed is around 3% faster than the speedo.

Re: Replacing headlight.

Have you taken the three 10mm bolts out? There are two on the side and one accessed from the front. This should let you pull the whole headlight assy out (you can let it rest on the bushbar) and either undo the wiring harness to take it out completely, or undo the circular beigey grey headlight acce...

Re: Coolant not circulating to VegMax + Hotfox

Well I figured out my problem with coolant circulation to the rear veggie tank... as well as the location of my missing vice grip. Yup... I had left a vice grip on a coolant line, enough coolant could get past, but not enough flow to circulate into the tank. Pretty happy it was an easy fix, felt pre...
