Re: 90 L300 USA vs. NON-US interior panel interchange?
I'm also curious about this as i need a handle for the sliding door and some other pieces aren't in the best shape.
i know there's a few guys in BC that have some experience with both USDM and JDM l300s, maybe they know,

Re: A 1989 Vanwagon for your amusement
the 4g64 truck i use to drive with about 115k went from the full mark to the bottom of the dip stick about every 1000 miles. i never paid attention to how much i added, but i would estimate around 750ml? mostly city driving too. i would call it normal, 1qt every 300 sounds like a lot, and it's not s...

Re: LHD Conversion
if you really want LHD why not get a European delica? LHD isn't all it's cracked up to be, if my US L300 dash cracks there's almost zero chance of me finding one in the same color. with a conversion of a l300 would you hack up the body and put the hood(proper name?) on the right like a factory LHD m...

Re: Help w/improve fuel: currently@ 16.6 liters per 100 km/1
Also, minimtos95, how do you like your gas engine? Josh i still haven't got to take it more then around the neighborhood but i did rack up about 7000 miles in a mighty max 2wd truck with the same motor minus jet valves, it had a bit more get up and go due to the weight and auto vs manual and got ab...

Re: Help w/improve fuel: currently@ 16.6 liters per 100 km/1
auto or manual? either way coast to stops from further away. EDIT: don't do this where it's illegal: put it in neutral going down steep enough hills and let momentum do the work(i've heard this is bad for automatics) DWL, driving with load, leads to great results on motorcycles i haven't tried it in...

Re: '87 g64b lost spark?
i'll check it out tomorrow after cleaning all those cobwebs from the intake side of the engine bay, that's good to know as i have a 91 mighty max sitting out front with a blown waterpump i can borrow parts from to diagnose. there should be 20kv coming out of the coil? so something is causing the coi...

Re: A 1989 Vanwagon for your amusement
i think i sub'd you on youtube not long ago.
it's a lot of weight on decently sized tires using less then great brakes. i'm not surprised but i bet if you kick the brake pedal with some momentum instead of pressing it, you will have a lot more chance of locking up.
