Squeal while on throttle

Does the squealing go away when it's idling? Does it just squeal when you are accelerating and not when you back off on the throttle? This is pretty indicative of a belt not tensioned correctly. Is the plug in the lower rad hose a power plug that plugs into a home outlet? If so it could be a recircu...

Rear Hatch Strut.

Have a look at this thread. Some good info in it with dimensions. http://www.delica.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=12608 I suggest you contact Frank at http://strutwise.tech/ and tell him what you're looking to do. He knows his stuff and does good work. Lots of people (including me) on here have had ...

roof racks

I have some 'SDG' roof racks that came on mine from Japan when I bought it. I have a 1997 High roof.
The feet measure 9" from bottom of foot to the bottom of the rack.
There is 1 3/4"" clearance between the roof and the bottom of the roof rack.

A/C not working - a leak in rear condenser

There are two condensers, one front, one rear. They are 'fed' from the same compressor. If you have a leak in the rear, it drains the entire system.

Where did you take your van to get the A/C worked on? I need mine checked and recharged.

Brakes question

A quick look in the Technical reference Library shows this tutorial for the front brakes: http://delica.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?f=97&t=408 And this video: http://delica.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?f=97&t=16959 Ensure you have a look at the rubber brake hoses and steel brake lines for cracks/leaks/wear. Ha...

How to I upload Photos?

Oh, I guess the above doesn't answer your question about adding to albums.
Not sure yet on that one.

How to I upload Photos?

Easiest way to add pics from your computer (I've found) is to place them inline. That way you can type text at the top or bottom to describe your pic. Click 'Post Reply' at the top or bottom of the window which contains your topic. Screen Shot 2017-07-17 at 11.35.09 AM.png Click on the 'Attachments'...

Delica friendly a/c shop

Does anyone have a recommendation for a Delica friendly AC shop? Preferably in the Surrey/Delta/Langley area. I need to have my system vacuumed, leak tested and recharged. It had a leak, wouldn't hold vacuum so I replaced all the o rings. Hopefully that fixed it. Rising Sun does not do that sort of ...

Accessing high/low air condition valves

Remove the Intercooler and you should be able to see the low pressure nipple (it has a green cap on it). You can get at it without removing the intercooler but you need to be part contortionist. I'll have to take another look to see where the high pressure one is. If I remember correctly, just follo...

Replacement O/D Switch

I repaired mine a couple of years ago. I didn't take any pics of the process. Here are some instructions from the Delica UK website to remove and repair it. First, remove the overdrive button. Slip a small screwdriver or pocket knife blade under the edge of the button, and lever it gently off. Look ...

Replacement O/D Switch

I emailed this Australian Company regarding another item they have (Electronic Inclinometer). They responded with the info right away and also advised they have a brand new product they have just designed to replace the O/D switch in the end of the transmission shifter in the L400. Here is a pic of ...

Sweet Inclinometer Replacement for L400

That looks like a great mod.
Do you have a pic of it installed in the binnacle? Just curious what it looks like in the cluster.
What did it cost you for shipping? How long did it take to arrive?
