The front tank's life is over... Need another.
Its rusted out all along the seam in numerous places and a nice few pin holes in the bottom.
Its at a shop about 3 hrs from home, hoping to get some pic's sent to me.
The opinion of the shop is that the tank cant live again....

My old girl is having fuel tank issues and I am curious to know if anyone knows of anyone in the Maritimes area that has a parted out L300 that I can aquire the front (and probably the rear as well-since that has a 'custom' repair job) fuel tanks.
Much thanks

Fuel tank woe's in the Maritimes.
Hi folks. I do know this is not the parts sub and I hope I am not breaking all the rules. I figured I would put this here b/c there is more traffic. Oh man...that does not seem like any fun at all.
Thanks for the input, If I could draw a sad face I would.
I think I will try and switch out the tanks, and if the other tanks is crappy then I will attempt something like your wicked drawing.

A big woops...
So I had a little drip coming out of the sending unit on the rear tank....eventually the little drip turned into a bigger drip. I happen to have another tank that still had the sending unit in place, so I figured I would just swap gaskets. I started by the removing the sending unit from the spare ta...

Re: High Pitched swqueal
Thanks for the info folks.
I will try what you guys suggested (although, taking off the belts will be my last resort) tomorrow.
Big-Bird - no puffs of smoke, just a little white when she starts.
Growlerbearnz - I'm sure the beard story is a good one, and I will try the stethoscope trick.

High Pitched swqueal
Good morning folks, recently 93 L300 has started making a high pitched squeal at about 2000rpm - no matter whether driving or its parked. For the first while it would go away after the engine warmed up, but it seems to stay longer. Some history; new head / timing belt / water pump and all the goodie...

Re: Help identifying switches
Thats great, thanks for the pic and info.
There is not much of a stub under that dirt....at least not enough to solder to.
Will add this to my list of parts to find.

Delica and Nova Scotia Insurance
Good Morning from Nova Scotia. I have had my Delica for about 2 years now and when I first got it to NS I had a little bit of a hard time finding Ins for RHD- which I was expecting. This year, my broker came back to me and said that my Ins company (Royal and Sun Alliance) will not renew my Delica In...

Re: Van Suddenly Won't Start...please advise.
I recently had trouble with my neutral safety switch. When I turned the key everything came on except for the starting part. After much trouble shooting I found it was my neutral safety switch - mine is an auto and if I wiggled the shifter enough and turned the key at the same time it started. The n...
