Compliant Headlights for 2002 Chamonix
Replying to confirm this. I met Sergei a couple weeks ago and the headlights are the real deal. I ended up buying a pair from him because when I brought my 2002 for an out-of-province inspection to the local shop (I've been dealing with since I brought over my '94) they suddenly became very stringen...

L400 Won't Shift From Park In Colder Weather
Can anyone recommend a good Delica shop in Calgary that would be able to fix this? Another winter has started, and I need to get this fixed! Reading a couple previous threads it seems like mine is an issue with the brake/transmission interlock. This seems like a relatively simple fix for a shop to t...

About to buy 1993
I'm a chequebook mechanic so I can't speak on ease of maintenance & repairs, but I have been pleasantly surprised that there are at least a few shops where Delicas are regularly seen -even welcomed- in Calgary.

Re: l400 crank pulley
If you have the tools and skills this is a basic job... Thanks for this great post! My van has a pronounced squeak that seems to have gotten worse lately, which means it could be my pulley. I don't have many tools or skills, so I'll be getting this checked out soon by someone who does. Also, just a...

Just a heads-up but in that 2nd photo it looks like your 710 cap is on upside-down. I went and checked my van and it had the same problem, but it is now fixed.

Re: Calgary Meet - Friday April 1st. All Mitsu's!
Sorry I didn't make this, I was travelling back from family vacation that day.
We spent 2 weeks in the UK and not one Delica was seen, but we did see this awesome Pajero Evo. I'd never seen one before, not even heard of them to be honest. Now I find myself checking Autotrader and wondering...

L400 Won't Shift From Park In Colder Weather
It's my first winter with the Delica and I'm super impressed how it has handled things so far, with the exception that on the coldest of days (about -20 below or colder, for you westcoasters :-D ) the shifter has sometimes had trouble shifting from park. The 2-3 times that this has happened it goes ...

Have you checked that the "Auto" is not engaged? This may explain why the CCU seems to have a mind of it's own.
I've never really used this feature in any of my vehicles, I like to be in control of my heat/cold.

Re: Double Din stereos?
Not sure why, there shouldn't be any issues. I had a double-din Pioneer AVIC 6100NEXwith GPS Navigation, satellite radio, etc. installed in my L400 and it is a great upgrade! With the new deck, the speakers show their age, so I decided to replace them shortly afterwards as well. Anyone else have a d...

Maiden Voyage of the Green Giant-
Just wrapped up our first family trip in my 1994 PF6W from Calgary to Invermere & Golden, and back. The Delica performed flawlessly, even keeping up with traffic on the big mountain hills. Fuel economy was respectable- with a rough average of about 520-550 km per tank on premium gasoline- someti...

Re: CALGARY - MITSUBISHI OWNERS DAY - JULY 4th
Well it was only 2 Delica.ca members and one Pajero who represented the JDM 4X4's. Still a good show....maybe we will see a few more next year from the Alberta contingent? Had no idea that I already know Mr. Fuji. Yes, it's a small world indeed! I enjoyed the gathering, meeting nice people, and see...

Re: WTB L400 Floor Mats, 7-Seater
I have my Delica now, and it does have these mats. Apparently they were hiding, as mats tend to do.
