Looking for a test drive in saskatchewan

Wondering if any of the l400 delica owners in regina would let me/my wife go for a test drive? We have a l300 but we find it struggles on the highway here with the wind a little to much. We are just deciding if we want to give up our baby and get an upgrade or not.... Any help would be appreciated! ...

Re: Shakes Vibrate Automatic Trasmission

This shudder sounds like my issue.
I would investigate the IP. I know for a fact that my ip has a few leaks and I get the shudder from a standing start that sounds very similar

Re: Needing parts asap!

I would be very wary with apex auto. They claim they know Delicas but the guy admitted to me he did not even know where the thermostate was. I spent 3000 on: in car rad flush, thermostat/water pump replacement, clutch fan replacement. They did not fix my problem of bubbling into my coolant overflow ...

Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?

I got my van registered in Sask! . I had relatively little trouble! i added LED DTRL and wired my side markers in. Other then that i had some condensation in my headlight, a u joint that needed replacement, and some loose wheel bearings. about 2 hours of my own time for wiring and 270 bucks at the m...

Re: Need to get my Van inspected in Saskatchewan

well its more of a inspection to get it registered in the province. I just need a mechanic that is open to RHD in general so they do not hassle me to much.
ill try Firesong, I know they did there inspections in stoon at an OK tire, but i am in Regina....

Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?

Today i got my Rad back from the shop. I asked a recore but the man said it would be a waste of money and just preformed a acid flush instead. I was fine with that since I am super broke and 45$ was a much nicer bill than 320$. Had a few trouble with the transmission cooling lines (difficult to tigh...

Re: Tool Box suggestions?

Thanks Falco. This is exactly what i was wondering. "Regarding tools ~ typically you're going to come up against 10, 12, 14 & 17mm bolts as a rule of thumb. Sometimes 8mm" I have a old ammo box full of tools right now but i want to trim it all down so that i can fit what i need in the ...

Tool Box suggestions?

I always carry a tool box with me and I am sure that I have way to much stuff in there. What tools do you think are required for a L300 dedicated toolbox that can handle most repairs/tune ups. I just got my lovely back from the shop with a new head and after the bill I am thinking ill be doing more ...

Re: Mystery bubbles in coolent

I was not overheating. My temp would rise and lower a bit but it never went crazy. I attributed this to a faulty fan clutch which i have since replaced. I just did a ph test myself and from what I can read it seems to between 7.5 and 8. Which to my understanding is bad. My new cap came from CVI so I...

Mystery bubbles in coolent

Hi all, i am trying to solve a problem and i am stumped..... My van started to blow coolant onto the ground from the overflow tank after I stopped driving. I noticed that the tube into the coolant overflow reservoir is making bubbles. I assumed the worse (gasket or new head)and brought the van into ...
