Full size roof rack and abit more gear than I should carry. Everyday driving which is back and forth over the Malahat 50km one way. I get a very consistent 475 per 50L.

I run an autometer one. Some people have problems with them but I believe it comes down to poor ground and poor routing of wire these meters are very sensitive to inductive voltage do to the lack of twisted wires to cancel this. I have seen it a few times did you clean the mounting surfaces, did you torque after 50km. Also did you lube the threads of the studs?

You say you only added 20L of gas how much diesel was in the tank to begin with?. If you can syphon out a jerry can worth and then top up the tank with diesel. Followed by removing the fuel filter allow it to drain same with the lines. Then refill the filter with diesel and add half a litre of 2-str...

Drain as much as you can and refill with fresh diesel also put a new filter on it to cover you butt

Also as an addition to the above post it will take some time for the system to normalize. When I do A/C at work I run the system at max AC for 30 min then check the condition of the sight glass.

Check the linkage to see if it is hooked up, put it on jack stands and see if the drive shaft and cv joints spin. If they do then go after the hubs. Oh does it have auto or manual hubs
