Is there a problem using the orange/red coloured Canadian Tire Diesel lomg life coolant in the L400 if rad is flushed of previous coolant?
Thanks all!

Re: Add-ons/mods finally done
I picked up both Clarion units off of Ebay at separate times. The Clarion deck is an older model without bluetooth but was new in the box. The Clarion subwoofer/amp is a 100w unit and its perfect under a seat or beside a storage unit as I have it. I liked it because it had the USB slot which I use q...

Re: Add-ons/mods finally done
The Plasti-Dip is rubberized a little but not like a Rhino lining. I just used painters tape 3" wide and taped off the tire near the rim edge. Great thing is overspray anywhere can just be rubbed off with a finger with a back and forth motion. It is resilient I have a friend that did his wheels...

Add-ons/mods finally done
A few mods and add-ons here: - Plasti dipped the wheels, (2) cans used to apply (5) coats. this stuff is great! - Bike rack attachment on existing Deli ladder. many have asked about this. This is very inexpensive, just find an older "Grabber" bike rack and remove the arms from the rack the...

Re: looking for some used steel wheels to powder coat
Save yourself more money by buying a couple cans of plasti-dip, forget powder coating.
Just buy any set of wheels you like regardless of condition and do 4 to 5 coats of the plasti-dip without removing the wheels from the vehicle.

Re: Head Gasket replacement
Thanks Mardy,
I will wait for your return and have it towed to you by month end.
I can live with $950 for all if it is what you say it is, meaning the cylinder head and not the head gasket.
There was no overheating when it happened so head should be fine.

Re: Post IP rebuild
Well as luck would have it after Butch completed the initial IP build, I needed new glow plugs.
Maybe avoid the Hyundai one's, and go with the NGK's that Butch just replaced.
Thanks CVI for all of your follow up!

Re: Post IP rebuild
My timing is retarded, need to advance it just a hair. Can anyone advise on how to do this as I don't have time to go back and forth to CVI testing out other things like glow plugs when all worked fine before they did the IP rebuild. Hearing too many stories about bad experiences with their IP build...

Re: Post IP rebuild
I would like to know as well, as my post IP build experience has left me with cold start hesitation and white smoke.
Again, never had these challenges prior to the IP rebuild.
Cheers,
Joe
