Elon Musk

I think by now, 3 years later, almost everyone will have changed their opinion on Mr. Musk and I certainly wouldn't compare him in any way to Donald Trump as someone did below.

Good to see this site back up

I sold my '93 p25w Jasper in 2015 and bought a 2013 Tesla Model S. I miss the Deli but have never looked back. In 2018 my wife bought a new Tesla Model 3. Haven't paid any maintenance on either (except tires on the S) and the S is still going strong like new with 150,000 Km. Maybe when it dies I'll ...

L300 Snorkel New ~ SOLD.

I have recently sold my Delica but I still have one of the snorkels that Felix brought in. I just never installed it. It cost $320 in 2011 and I will let it go to the first person offering $200. It's this one: http://www.fts4x4.com/en/products/?method=detail&aid=65 Improves intake air volume, re...

Re: help please! wiper arm removal

These 3 wipers usually come off fairly easy with some rocking back and forth. The spline is tapered away from the panel so it gets easier as you rock and pull it towards you. It's usually better to leave the 12mm nut on a couple of turns so the wiper doesn't hit you in the face when it comes off. Th...

Re: CVI Appreciation Day: Aug. 11, Sat, 11-4; Mundy Park, Co

Wonderful event today at beautiful Mundy Park. Many thanks to Butch, Marla, Edwin, Christine and all involved in organizing the great food and learning sessions. Good to see so many JDM machines in the sunshine and share the innovations.

CVI rocks! Love those mango bars!

Delicat, do you still have the pair of these. If so, I'll take them.

Thanks,

Re: Aircare numbers anyone?

Mine was 13.27% opacity in Feb 2010. I've since had my first CVI Deli tune in Mar 2010. Smoke on start-up dropped out of sight, but I'm still blowing black smoke in the summer time with little acceleration. Maybe has something to do with my side exhaust as I can now see every bit of it in the mirror...

Re: Tinted

I was in Phoenix for meetings in April. Weather was pefect and not yet too hot, so I rented a road bike for a couple of days and about 150Km up into the surrounding hills. Almost everything was perfect, except that everyone drives an SUV with all the windows tinted. I nearly got run over at half a d...

Madman Gauge Install

Has anyone installed the round Madman gauge? I'm looking to put it in the dual gauge pod in place of the inclinometre. Not sure if it will fit or even how the pod comes apart. Another way might be to put a clamp around it and bolt it to the dash, but it probably wouldn't look as good. I've removed t...

Re: CVI's 3rd Annual Customer Appreciation Day on May 29 (sat)!

Yes, thank you to the CVI crowd and family as well as to Christine and Jay for their able assistance. I learned a lot more than I even want to know about Delica's, so I think I'll be leaving most of the mechanical work to the experts. I'll keep coming back, if only for Marla's mango bars. They were ...

Re: CVI's 3rd Annual Customer Appreciation Day on May 29 (sat)!

I'm going to try hard to be there. What about a demo/discussion on installing pyro and boost gauges. I have a round Madman multi-gauge that could be used for a demo (in my Deli of course). Or just the discussion and I'll get CVI to install it later. Attendees could bring things they want to sell, tr...
