My Delica Days Are Over
Well my first Delica just drove away yesterday to a new owner. I bought my 89 Chamonix 3 years ago on Ebay off an American guy who wasn't allowed back into the states with it and couldn't stay in Canada. At that time Delica.ca was set up to sell another 89 Delica. When I registered my first Delica o...

Re: Delica Expedition Vehicle
i was half joking about the safari, but for the same reasons as electricjester pointed out on that site. it seems to be about repairs. i have had a delica now for about three years and it is still a bit of a hassle to get a good and consistent repair done. i recently used radd cruisers in duncan and...

Re: Trade roof rack, hi for lo?
correct me if i'm wrong but the difference between the high and low roof rack models are the 6 lifts that hold the rack above the roof. if that is the case i would be interested as i have a high roof rack model delica that came with low roof rack model lifts.

Re: Inconsistent Idling
air conditioner affects the idle speed and alternator on two battery systems seems to do that as well.

Re: Front Brake Calipers
glad it worked out. the other thing to do just to be safe is to check you brake fluid level in a couple of days of normal driving and then again in a week, just to make sure that you tightened all your bolts and nuts. if your brake fluid is low your handbrake light should activate and stay on even i...

deck 80 at cdn tire, sub and amp 50 each off ebay, speakers 200, wiring 50, replaced all plus sub wiring. placing sub right behind the drivers seat gives that thump in your soul if you want that. sounds great, could always sound better...

Re: Sound systems
brand isn't that important, budget thing really. up front are 4" i think, a&b sound knows. the drivers side is really easy to take out and i just took that in. the backs are 5 1/2" but you can fairly easily fit 6x9's if you want. the sub is altec lansing i believe, bought it off ebay. ...

Re: Sound systems
hi patty, yes replace all the speakers. front left is a pain and you have to remove the rear seat and lot of plastic to get at the back ones. i have a 10" sub with separate amp in a box in the back. that should let you rock out.
